About the Role:
Based in Kent, the Senior Mechanical Design Engineer will play a pivotal role within our national MEP Division. This is a design consultancy position with strong client-facing responsibilities, making it ideal for someone eager to shape not just buildings, but their own professional path.
Key Responsibilities:
- Client Management – Take ownership of client relationships and define scope of works.
- Collaboration – Work closely with other engineers and disciplines to ensure compliance with quality standards and regulations.
- Project Oversight – Lead the preparation of mechanical designs, specifications, drawings, and technical reports.
- Sustainable Solutions – Advocate for and implement sustainable design practices throughout all stages.
- Mentorship – Support and mentor junior engineers and contribute to team development.
- Continuous Improvement – Stay current with industry trends and drive enhancements in design and technical standards.
Requirements:
- Experience – Minimum of 5 years in the Building Services industry, with solid knowledge of British Standards, Building Regulations, and best practices.
