We’re seeking a commercially focused Estimator to join our Work Winning team in Swindon. You’ll be instrumental in producing high-quality, competitive pricing for tenders and supporting early contractor involvement (ECI) projects, working closely with Bid Managers and technical specialists across the business.

What You’ll Be Doing
  • Preparing detailed and accurate cost estimates for tenders and budget pricing
  • Supporting clients during early contractor involvement stages
  • Collaborating with Bid Managers to ensure competitive and compliant pricing
  • Advising on the most cost-effective design and construction solutions
  • Pricing labour, plant, materials, subcontractors, preliminaries and temporary works
  • Working with Procurement to assess and select supplier and subcontractor quotations
  • Contributing to risk and opportunity reviews
  • Presenting pricing build-ups at pre-settlement and settlement meetings
  • Supporting handover for successful bids and learning from post-tender feedback
What We’re Looking For
  • Proven experience as an Estimator within civil engineering or construction
  • Strong understanding of construction methodologies and procurement legislation
  • Commercial awareness of different forms of contract
  • Confident user of estimating software and pricing tools
  • Strong communication skills and the ability to collaborate across multi-disciplinary teams
  • A proactive, detail-oriented and solutions-focused approach
