I’m working with a well-established, forward-thinking consultancy that delivers high-quality, multi-disciplinary building services projects across the UK. They are currently seeking an Intermediate Electrical Design Engineer, and the role is based in Nottingham. This is an excellent opportunity to take real ownership of electrical design delivery across a diverse range of building projects, working closely with multi-disciplinary teams and contributing to innovative, efficient and technically robust electrical solutions.

The role:
- Produce detailed electrical designs for a variety of building services projects
- Deliver projects on time, within budget and to high technical standards
- Develop cost-effective and energy-efficient electrical engineering solutions
- Attend client meetings and support project briefing and coordination
- Prepare technical reports, specifications and design documentation
- Carry out site inspections and produce electrical condition reports
- Collaborate closely with mechanical, sustainability and other design teams
- Use electrical design tools including AutoCAD, Revit, Amtech, and other relevant software
What you’ll need:
- A degree in Electrical or Building Services Engineering
- Hands-on experience in electrical design within building services
- Strong proficiency with electrical design software and modelling tools
- Excellent communication and coordination skills
- The ability to obtain UK SC Clearance (essential due to project requirements)
