We are currently supporting a number of well-established Building Services Consultancies across London in the recruitment of Junior to Intermediate Mechanical and Electrical Design Engineers. These opportunities are available with a range of multidisciplinary and specialist MEP consultancies, offering exposure to projects across the commercial, residential, healthcare, education, life sciences, mixed-use and data centre sectors.

Typical Responsibilities

  • Design of mechanical or electrical building services systems
  • Production of calculations, technical specifications and drawings
  • Working with software such as Revit, AutoCAD, Amtech, Dialux, Hevacomp and IESVE (depending on the role)
  • Supporting projects from concept through to completion
  • Attending site visits, surveys and client meetings
  • Collaborating with multidisciplinary design teams to deliver high-quality engineering solutions

Typical Requirements

  • Degree or HNC/HND in Mechanical Engineering, Electrical Engineering or Building Services Engineering
  • Experience working within a UK Building Services Consultancy
  • Good understanding of UK Building Regulations and CIBSE guidance
  • Strong communication skills and the ability to work effectively within a team
