As a Principal Electrical Engineer, you will have the opportunity to grow your career with a world leading MEP Consultancy specialising in hyperscale data centre projects. The Principal Electrical Engineer is a key part of the business offering an exceptional mix of hands on technical responsibility with client facing and commercial activities.

Responsibilities
  • You will be responsible for leading and running projects and working in a client facing position.
  • Ensuring engineering calculations and drawings produced by team members meet expected standards.
  • Specify controls, instruments and operating systems for building engineering services.
  • Carry out surveys, tests and dilapidation reports on electrical installations.
  • As a Principal Electrical Engineer you will mentor and train junior team members.
Skills and Experience
  • Degree education in a relevant engineering discipline.
  • CEng or working towards the status.
  • Strong experience in specification design for mission critical buildings.
  • Strong knowledge of UK Building Services regulations.
  • Working knowledge of Data Centre design.
