A building services design team is seeking a Senior Mechanical Engineer to join their London office. Ideal candidates will have strong experience in mechanical building services design and be Chartered or working towards Chartership.

Key Responsibilities

  • Contribute to mechanical design strategy and carry out design calculations.
  • Produce drawings, schematics, specifications, and schedules.
  • Ensure designs meet relevant standards, regulations, and energy‑efficiency requirements.
  • Lead M&E project delivery, including coordination and attending meetings.
  • Review work of junior engineers and support their development.
  • Build strong relationships with clients and design teams.
  • Provide multidisciplinary input and support sustainability goals.

  • Degree or HNC/HND in Mechanical/Building Services/Architectural Engineering.

  • Knowledge of low‑carbon design, renewable technologies, BREEAM, or similar.
