We are looking for an experienced Senior BIM Coordinator to drive Building Information Modelling (BIM) delivery across complex defence infrastructure programmes. This key position ensures that all digital design and construction data is efficiently coordinated, fully compliant, and securely managed throughout the project lifecycle.
Key Responsibilities
- Lead and oversee BIM coordination across multidisciplinary project teams on secure defence projects.
- Manage and maintain federated BIM models, ensuring precision, integrity, and compliance with MOD and ISO 19650 standards.
- Prepare and implement BIM Execution Plans (BEPs), Model Production Delivery Tables (MPDTs), and data management protocols.
- Collaborate with a range of stakeholders including architects, engineers, contractors, and government representatives.
- Safeguard the handling, sharing, and storage of sensitive digital information in line with defence security standards.
- Carry out clash detection, model audits, and quality reviews using platforms such as Navisworks, Solibri, or similar tools.
- Support digital twin development and ensure asset data handover in alignment with MOD requirements.
Essential Qualifications & Experience
- Minimum of 5 years’ experience in BIM coordination, ideally within defence, infrastructure, or other secure project environments.
- Advanced proficiency in Autodesk Revit, Navisworks, BIM 360 / ACC, and associated BIM applications.
- Thorough understanding of ISO 19650, PAS 1192, and MOD-specific BIM frameworks.
- Demonstrated experience working within Common Data Environments (CDEs) and managing structured project data.
- Excellent communication, coordination, and stakeholder management abilities.
