The organisation enables the development of digital infrastructure and the built environment, supporting ambitious zero‑carbon goals across global projects. In this role, you will lead electrical due diligence activities for major data centre developments across EMEA. You’ll guide clients through complex technical, regulatory, and grid‑related challenges, shaping early‑stage decisions that influence the future of digital infrastructure.
- Lead electrical due diligence for potential data centre sites across EMEA.
- Assess electrical connection risks and evaluate site suitability.
- Manage feasibility studies and advise on electrical design requirements during site selection.
Project Management
- Develop project plans, budgets, and timelines for early‑stage development.
- Ensure due diligence outputs support successful site acquisition and project progression.
Client & Stakeholder Management
- Serve as the primary point of contact during due diligence and planning phases.
- Provide strategic advice on connection agreements and TSO/DSO risks.
Qualifications
- Bachelor’s degree in Electrical Engineering, Electrical & Electronic Engineering, Power Engineering, or similar.
- Strong understanding of industrial electrical connection agreements and grid‑related risks.
- Knowledge of electrical codes and regulations relevant to data centre development.
- Excellent project management skills: budgeting, scheduling, resource planning.
- Experience leading electrical design on complex projects.
- Ability to coordinate with mechanical, civil, and controls disciplines, as well as contractors and regulators.
- Background in consulting or construction preferred.
- Experience in data centre design or large industrial/warehouse projects is highly desirable.
