Approved Electrician (Glasgow / Edinburgh Region) Field-Based Across Scotland | Immediate Start £27 per hour

We’re working with a well-established organisation delivering essential compliance and remedial works across industrial and commercial sites throughout Scotland. Due to increased demand, they’re now looking for an Approved Electrician to join the team on an initial 3-month contract.

The Role
Working across sites in the Glasgow / Edinburgh region and beyond, you’ll play a key role in ensuring electrical compliance and safety standards are met.
Your day-to-day will include:
- Electrical inspection & testing to BS7671
- Emergency lighting and equipment testing
- Carrying out remedial works following inspections
- Working to strict client safety procedures
- Travelling directly from home to client sites
This is a hands-on, field-based role, primarily Monday–Friday, with occasional weekend work during shutdowns.
What You’ll Need
- NVQ Level 3 in Electrical Installation (or equivalent)
- 18th Edition (BS7671)
- AM2 (or full apprenticeship equivalent)
- ECS Card
- Experience in inspection & testing within commercial/industrial environments
- Ability to work independently with a proactive attitude
Desirable:
- City & Guilds 2391
- First Aid (Emergency Aid)
- Asbestos Awareness
- Valid Basic DBS (within last 3 months)
