A leading international M&E consultancy renowned for their expertise in low-energy design and commitment to delivering exceptional solutions, are looking for a Design Manager for their London Team. Their mission is to drive the development of the built environment and support clients in achieving ambitious zero-carbon goals. They operate across the entire project lifecycle, offering comprehensive services that save our clients time, money, and effort.

We are looking for a dynamic Design Manager specialising in Data Centres to join the London office. You will oversee the design management and coordination of data centre projects, ensuring seamless integration of various disciplines and adherence to project timelines and budgets. Your leadership will be pivotal in maintaining high-quality client relationships and driving project success.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Utilising design management tools to monitor and control project coordination, including tracking progress and ensuring timely delivery.
  • Support senior staff by preparing project reports, action trackers, and coordinating multidisciplinary activities.
  • Lead the integration of architectural, MEP, and structural information to ensure cohesive project development.
  • Maintain and enhance client relationships through effective communication and delivery of high-quality services.
  • Mentor and guide project teams, fostering a collaborative environment that promotes professional growth and project excellence.
Qualifications:
  • Bachelor's degree in Engineering or a related field.
  • Minimum of 10 years in engineering design management, with significant experience in data centre projects.
  • Strong understanding of design management processes, data centre infrastructure, and multidisciplinary coordination.
  • Proven ability to lead teams, manage complex projects, and deliver results in a fast-paced environment.
  • Excellent interpersonal and communication skills, with the ability to engage effectively with clients and team members.

This position is based in London, UK, and may require occasional travel to project sites.
