Structural Engineer in Derby

I have recently partnered with a well established boutique structural engineering consultancy that is looking to appoint a Structural Engineer at around the 2–5 year level to join their team.

This is a great opportunity for an engineer who enjoys hands on residential work and wants real responsibility, variety, and progression without the corporate red tape.

💼 The Role

• Structural design for residential projects
• Involvement across design and delivery (reports exposure beneficial but not essential)
• Support from experienced engineers in a collaborative small team

👤 About You

• Structural Engineer with ~2–5 years’ experience (or more considered)
• Background in UK residential/ domestic structures
• Comfortable producing calculations and drawings
• AutoCAD useful but not essential
• Must be able to commute to Rickmansworth within 45 minutes via train or car
• Must have full right to work in the UK
