Contract Senior Structural Engineer\\n\\nLocation: London (Hybrid Working)\\nRate: Up to c£50 per hour (Experience dependant)\\nContract Length: 6 Months\\nStart Date: Immediate\\nIR35 Status: Inside IR35\\n\\nThe Opportunity\\n\\nA leading international engineering consultancy based in Central London is seeking an experienced Contract Senior Structural Engineer to join their team on a high-profile, technically challenging portfolio of projects.\\n\\nThis is an excellent opportunity for a hands-on design-focused engineer with a strong background in building structures to work within a respected global consultancy delivering complex and prestigious schemes across the UK and internationally.\\n\\nKey Responsibilities\\n\\nYou will play a pivotal role in the technical delivery of a wide range of projects, including:\\n\\n * High-rise building developments\\n\\n * Major commercial and retail structures\\n\\n * Hotels and museum projects\\n\\n * Sports and entertainment complexes\\n\\nThe role is heavily design-led and will involve producing and reviewing detailed structural designs, collaborating with multidisciplinary teams, and supporting project delivery from concept through to construction.\\n\\nAbout You\\n\\nTo be successful in this role, you will have:\\n\\n * Minimum 8–10+ years’ structural design experience within building structures\\n\\n * Strong hands-on design expertise in steel and reinforced concrete\\n\\n * Proven experience working on technically complex projects\\n\\n * The ability to work independently and contribute effectively within a team\\n\\nExperience with seismic design is advantageous but not essential.\\nChartership (or near-chartership) with ICE or IStructE (MICE or MIStructE) is preferred.\\n\\nWorking Arrangements\\n\\n * Hybrid working model (office-based in Central London and remote working)\\n\\n * Collaborative, professional consultancy environment\\n\\nWhat’s on Offer\\n\\n * Competitive contract rate of up to c£50 per hour depending on experience\\n\\n * High-quality, diverse project exposure\\n\\n * Immediate start available\\n\\n * Inside IR35 engagement with a well-established consultancy\\n\\nTo apply please send applications to Nick Rothery at Energi People
