Overview
I have recently partnered with an engineering consultancy who are looking for a CAD Technician to join their growing team in Henley-on-Thames. This is an excellent opportunity for someone with strong AutoCAD skills who enjoys leading, mentoring, and delivering multiple projects to high standards.
Responsibilities
- Programming resources and ensuring projects are delivered within timescales.
- Producing and managing detailed substructure and superstructure drawings in AutoCAD.
- Overseeing several projects simultaneously and ensuring quality delivery.
- Supporting a team of engineers and technicians on residential housing projects.
- Reviewing and commenting on third-party designs/drawings.
- Liaising with contractors and dealing with technical/construction queries.
- Reporting progress to Associates/Partners.
Qualifications
- 3+ years’ relevant experience in a similar role.
- Strong AutoCAD expertise.
- Knowledge of building structures including steel, concrete, timber, and masonry (advantageous).
- Ability to manage multiple projects and work within a multi-disciplinary team.
- Strong communication skills with a positive, proactive attitude.
