We are currently seeking an experienced Resident Engineer to join a major commercial construction project based in London on a contract basis. This is an excellent opportunity to work on a high-profile development with a leading multidisciplinary consultancy, supporting the delivery phase and ensuring quality and compliance across site operations.
Role Responsibilities:
- Acting as the client’s representative on site
- Monitoring construction activities and ensuring works are delivered in line with design specifications
- Coordinating with contractors, consultants, and project stakeholders
- Reviewing technical documentation and resolving site queries
- Carrying out inspections, reporting progress, and maintaining quality standards
- Supporting health & safety compliance across the project
Requirements:
- Proven experience working as a Resident Engineer on large commercial projects
- Strong understanding of construction processes and site coordination
- Ability to manage stakeholder relationships effectively
- Excellent reporting and communication skills
- Relevant engineering qualification preferred
