Structural Engineer with 4–6 years' experience to join their growing Bristol office.

The Opportunity You\"ll become part of a collaborative team of experienced engineers and technicians, working closely with senior technical leaders on projects from concept through to completion.

This role is ideal for an ambitious engineer who enjoys problem-solving, client interaction, and delivering innovative, high-quality design solutions.

Key Responsibilities

  • Carry out structural analysis and design calculations for a range of building projects.
  • Produce technical designs and specifications using industry-standard software and engineering principles.
  • Utilise structural design packages such as

TEKLA Structural Designer, TEDDS , and other relevant software.

  • Prepare technical reports, calculations, and design documentation.
  • Attend client meetings, design team workshops, and site inspections as required.
  • Collaborate with architects, contractors, and other consultants to deliver successful project outcomes.
  • Ensure projects are delivered within agreed timescales and budgets.
  • Support and contribute to the continuous improvement of engineering processes and best practice.

About You

  • Degree qualified in
  • Civil or Structural Engineering

(BEng, MEng, or equivalent).

  • Approximately

4–6 years' post-graduate structural engineering experience within a UK consultancy environment.

  • Experience working on building structures across a variety of sectors.
  • Proficient in structural design software, including TEKLA Structural Designer and TEDDS.
  • Strong communication skills with the ability to build relationships with clients and project teams.
  • Working towards Chartership or keen to progress towards professional accreditation.
