We have an exciting opportunity for a Senior Mechanical Engineer to join a well-established, forward-thinking engineering consultancy. This is a permanent, full-time position operating within an agile working framework.

As a Senior Mechanical Engineer, you will play a key role within the team, with a high degree of autonomy:

  • Acting as Project Leader on selected projects
  • Promoting technical excellence within the mechanical engineering discipline
  • Working across a variety of technically challenging projects
  • Being client-facing throughout all project stages, from inception to completion
  • Completing or overseeing engineering calculations

Requirements:

  • Degree in Mechanical or Building Services Engineering (or equivalent)
  • HNC/HND candidates with relevant design experience will also be considered
  • Minimum 3–4 years’ experience in building services design (post-qualification)
  • Experience with software such as Microsoft Office, Relux/Dialux, Amtech, and Revit
  • Knowledge of British/European Standards and Building Regulations
  • Experience with renewable technologies and sustainable design
  • Basic understanding of electrical engineering principles
