Job Title: Head of Bid Management\\nLocation: Swindon (with occasional travel to London)\\nSalary: £109,000 per year + £5,900 car allowance or company vehicle\\nJob Type: Full-time, Permanent\\n\\nAbout the Role:\\nWe are looking for an experienced and motivated Head of Bid Management to lead and oversee our bidding process for major civil engineering projects. This is a senior role requiring strong leadership skills, technical knowledge, and experience working with Tier 1 contractors.\\nYou will be responsible for managing the end-to-end bid process, ensuring high-quality, competitive tenders that align with the company’s goals and win work. You’ll work closely with various internal teams, including estimating, planning, design, and delivery, as well as with clients and partners.\\n\\nKey Responsibilities:\\nLead and manage all aspects of the bid process from start to finish\\nCoordinate inputs from technical, commercial, and operational teams\\nDevelop clear bid strategies and ensure they are effectively implemented\\nReview tender documents and identify key deliverables and risks\\nEnsure all bids are submitted on time, meet client requirements, and reflect our company’s strengths\\nManage and mentor a team of bid professionals\\nBuild relationships with clients, partners, and internal stakeholders\\nWork closely with senior leadership to align bidding activity with business strategy\\nMonitor and continuously improve the quality and efficiency of the bid process\\n\\nRequirements:\\nDegree in Civil Engineering (essential)\\nProven experience in bid management within the civil engineering or infrastructure sector\\nExperience working with Tier 1 contractors (essential)\\nUK work experience is essential\\nPrevious site experience is preferred\\nStrong leadership, communication, and project management skills\\nExcellent attention to detail and ability to manage multiple deadlines\\nComfortable working in a fast-paced environment with high-value projects\\nWillingness to travel occasionally to London for meetings and site visits\\n\\nWhat We Offer:\\nCompetitive salary of £109,000 per year\\n£5,900 car allowance or company vehicle\\nOpportunity to work on high-profile infrastructure projects\\nSupportive team environment and strong career development potential
