Bid Assistant – Built Environment Consultancy Location: London
1-Year Fixed-Term Contract (Potential to Go Permanent) £27500 per annum
Are you a detail-driven professional with a flair for coordination and communication? A leading consultancy within the built environment sector is seeking a Bid Assistant to join their dynamic team in London.
About the Role
This is a varied and fast-paced position where you’ll work closely with the Bids Co-ordinator, Practice Director, Project Managers, and the wider Business Support Team. You’ll play a key role in driving projects from initial enquiry through to successful bid submission and handover to the delivery team.
Key Responsibilities
- Coordinate tender activities from expression of interest to final submission
- Review bid documentation and identify key requirements and deadlines
- Collaborate with technical teams to ensure bid responses are tailored and complete
- Proofread and format submission documents to a high standard
- Support the creation of marketing and presentation materials
- Maintain accurate records and supporting documentation
- Liaise with internal teams for invoicing and compliance documentation
What We’re Looking For
Essential Skills:
- Excellent written and verbal communication
- Strong copywriting and editing skills
- Highly organised with the ability to multitask and meet tight deadlines
- Proficient in Microsoft Office and Outlook
