- A leading engineering and construction company is looking to appoint an experienced
MEP Engineer / Supervisor to support the successful delivery of major infrastructure and construction projects.
The Role
The company is seeking a proactive MEP professional who can work closely with package managers, subcontractors, and project stakeholders to ensure smooth delivery of mechanical, electrical, and public health works.
Key Responsibilities
- Supervising MEP installation activities on site.
- Coordinating subcontractors and monitoring progress against programme requirements.
- Ensuring all works are delivered in accordance with project specifications and approved designs.
- Identifying and reporting scope changes, delays, and site issues.
- Working collaboratively with construction, design, and commercial teams.
- Supporting testing and commissioning activities and witnessing completed works.
- Raising and managing Non-Conformance Reports (NCRs) where required.
- Ensuring the highest standards of health, safety, quality, and compliance are maintained across all site activities.
- Assisting with the resolution of technical and logistical challenges on site.
About You
The ideal candidate will have
- Experience supervising or coordinating MEP installations within construction, infrastructure, utilities, or industrial projects.
- Strong understanding of mechanical and electrical building services systems.
- Experience managing subcontractors and site-based works.
- Knowledge of testing, commissioning, and quality assurance processes.
- Strong communication and stakeholder management skills.
- A proactive approach to health and safety and project compliance.
- The ability to work effectively within multidisciplinary project teams.
- Previous experience working on power, utilities, energy, infrastructure, or heavy industrial projects.
- Knowledge of electrical systems, control systems, and commissioning activities.
- Familiarity with industry standards, specifications, and compliance requirements.
