We have a new opportunity for an HR Business Partner to join our dedicated HR team in Edinburgh. The role will be offered on a fixed-term contract for 12-months, with the possibility of the role becoming permanent in the future.
The main purpose of the role is to provide a high standard of generalist HR expertise and support to local business leaders and employees across GB. This role is a strategic position within ENERCON, playing a key part in shaping and implementing HR strategies, promoting employee engagement, and ensuring compliance with HR legislation across the country.
Your main roles and responsibilities:
- Collaborate with the Head of HR, senior managers and regional leaders to help shape and influence HR strategies.
- Assess data and metrics to provide insight on HR trends, challenges and best practices to drive organisational success.
- Act as a trusted advisor within GB to provide wide-ranging guidance on people matters to internal stakeholders.
- Collaborate with local managers and the Resourcing Partner to identify workforce requirements and develop talent management and succession strategies.
- Act as a point of contact for complex employee relations cases and provide guidance to managers to resolve employee-related matters.
- Implement and promote employee engagement initiatives, Company policies, compensation packages, and foster a positive work culture.
- Oversee performance management processes and coach managers on performance-related matters to improve productivity and development.
- Identify countrywide training needs and collaborate with the Head of HR to design and deliver effective training programs.
- Ensure HR practices comply with UK Employment Law and regulations.
Qualifications and key qualities that we look for:
- Degree qualified in Human Resources or similar field.
- CIPD Level 5 qualification is advantageous.
- Several years’ experience in a progressive HR role, including HR business partnering across multiple sites.
- A willingness to travel frequently throughout Great Britain.
- A strong understanding of UK Employment Law.
- Global mobility experience is desirable.
- Ability to align HR Strategies with business needs.
- Good interpersonal, leadership and influencing skills.
- Excellent communication and presentation skills.
- Ability to think strategically and develop innovative solutions to complex HR issues.
- Proficient in collating and analysing data to solve problems and draw conclusions for decision making.
- A positive attitude towards change initiatives.
- A full, valid UK driving licence.
- Right to work in the UK.
