The role is permanent and can be based in Edinburgh, UK or Zwolle, Netherlands, with travel throughout the Western Europe region.
Responsibilities:
- Negotiate and manage job packages for activities such as foundations, electrical works, roads & hard stands, piling works, cranes, installation teams, and other site services.
- Manage subcontractors for site works.
- Develop and implement procurement strategies that align with project goals.
- Negotiate contracts and secure competitive terms.
- Monitor and evaluate supplier performance and ensure compliance with contractual requirements.
- Assess and reduce procurement-related risks while adhering to local regulations.
- Identify and implement process improvements; maintain accurate procurement data in SAP.
- Collaborate closely with project management, engineering, and quality teams.

Key Qualities:
- A bachelor’s degree, preferably in a technical or business administration field.
- Demonstrable experience in international procurement, preferably in project environments.
- Proven experience in strategic procurement and vendor management.
- Strong negotiation and contract management skills (FIDIC knowledge is highly advantageous).
- Technical affinity and proficiency in MS Office, SAP, and Ariba (or similar platforms).
- Excellent communication skills in English.
- Right to work in the UK.
- Full, valid UK driving license.
