Enercon Industries, the global leader in induction sealing machines, is looking for a General Manager to oversee its UK and European operations.
This is a hands-on leadership role in a small, successful organisation with a team of 10–15 employees.
There will be a key focus on strategic leadership and planning, sales performance, people management, and stakeholder engagement.
The ideal candidate will be comfortable managing diverse responsibilities within a small business environment while ensuring alignment with its larger, international parent company.
The General Manager will have overall responsibility for achieving annual organisational goals, objectives and targets as defined by shareholders.
This role would suit an experienced senior manager, or an ambitious junior manager looking to take the next step in their career.
What We are Looking For:
The ideal candidate will be a dynamic, experienced technical sales or business leader with:
- Experience of working in a small organisation.
- A minimum of 7 years’ success in technical sales.
- 5+ years’ leadership experience, managing and motivating teams.
- Strong business acumen to identify market opportunities and competitive insights.
- Technical aptitude and a willingness to gain in-depth product knowledge.
- Excellent negotiation skills and the ability to build strong customer and partner relationships.
- The ability to understand financial statements and set and manage budgets.
- Familiarity with CRM systems (experience with Workbooks or Salesforce preferred).
- Experience with European markets and managing external agents/distributors (desirable).
Requirements:
- Full-time office-based role, requiring commutable distance to Aylesbury or willingness to relocate. Please note this is not a hybrid or remote based role.
- Willingness to travel across the UK, Europe, and the US (including occasional weekends).
