Overview
Are you an experienced Class 1 HGV Driver looking for a Monday-Friday role, with every weekend and bank holiday off? With a competitive hourly rate, night out allowance and a monthly performance bonus, we are looking for Drivers to expand our team.
We are seeking a reliable and skilled class 1 HGV Driver, to join our team. The ideal candidate will be responsible for the safe and efficient transportation of our products across the country, ensuring timely deliveries while adhering to all road safety regulations.
This is not you standard driving role and would suit someone who is looking for a challenge and different work on a daily basis. This role requires driving a wagon and drag vehicle set up which encompasses a 7.5 tonne flatbed, towing a trailer up to 7m in length.
Minimum 2 years driving experience required
Experience of strapping loads
Wide load experience essential and ability to follow a movement order
Nights out are required
Good geographical knowledge of the UK will be advantageous
Good knowledge of Driver hours and WTD is essential
Good communication skills, for effective interaction with customers and team members.
Valid class 1 license with no more than six penalty points (as well as no DD, DR endorsements)
Driver CPC card with no current suspension or revocation
Digital tachograph
_We are currently upgrading our vehicle fleet - some of our vehicles may require overnight stays in a sleeping pod. _
