What you’ll be doing?
- Learn how to analyse financial and market data to identify trends shaping the global insurance and reinsurance market.
- Research annual reports and other trusted sources to support business analysis.
- Help maintain and update Nova, our market insights platform.
- Validate outputs from automation and AI tools by checking accuracy and identifying anomalies.
- Create charts, visualisations and supporting evidence for market reports.
- Contribute to analytical projects that help colleagues and clients make informed decisions.
Who are we looking for?
- No insurance experience is needed; we’ll teach you everything you need to know!
- In your penultimate year of study from any degree background and interested in a career involving data, research and commercial analysis.
- Comfortable working with numbers and using data to solve problems.
- Able to communicate complex data into interesting insights.
- Able to manage detailed work accurately and consistently.
- Curious about financial markets and the wider economic trends that shape them.
- Keen to learn, take initiative and contribute to team projects.

This day is all about getting to know you better and for you to see what it's like to be part of Howden and experience our culture. We'll cover all your travel costs for this day, because where you are now, shouldn’t hold back your future!
