Account Manager – (Instrumentation / Process Automation)
South East London
Role + Responsibilities for an Account Manager
We are looking for an Account Manager in London, ideally around the South East area, with proven experience within an engineering field to promote and sell our full range of Instrumentation, Services and Solutions. You will be an experienced sales professional with an eye for expanding business in existing clients through consultative and cross‐selling, but also able to penetrate new customers demonstrating the benefits of the Endress+Hauser portfolio.

Main Responsibilities For An Account Manager

You will be responsible for managing business within the account base and developing the accounts using the account plan to set goals and actions.

You will familiarise yourself with the account base and build a clear understanding and strategy to grow business.

You will build your industry knowledge of Endress+Hauser products, services, and solutions.

You will utilise the support within the business and ensure you have a clear understanding of the Endress+Hauser offering, working closely with Marketing, Sales, Service and Solutions processes.

You will be consultative in your approach and ensure collaboration with colleagues to provide the best results.

You will implement the Company Sales Strategy.

You will build a strong network of contacts and develop relationships to satisfy the needs of both the customer and the business.

You will provide a clear vision of potential customer development.

You will liaise with customers both face‐to‐face and in virtual meetings.

You will be proactive and effective in decision making and foster an ability to be flexible and agile.

You will promote a positive attitude and demonstrate excellent communication skills.

Qualification + Profile for an Account Manager

Experience of sales within Instrumentation, Valves or Electrical/Mechanical engineering.

Excellent relationship building and attitude to drive sales.

To be highly motivated and have the ability to work on own initiative and as part of a team.

The ability to develop good working relationships with customers.
