As an Engineering Planning Coordinator, you will be responsible for organising the efficient and cost-effective running of Field Service activities. This will mean that both planned and reactive work is catered for and that the most adequately positioned and qualified engineer attends our customers’ sites in the most prepared fashion as possible. You will also engage Service partners in the field as per the Service partner plan, liaising with other areas of the business to ensure customer expectations are met. As well as ensuring that your specialist field of work is tended to, you shall also understand and be capable of supporting and managing general administration tasks within the remit of this responsibility.
Main responsibilities:
- Co-ordinating the day-to-day activities of the Field Service Engineers
- Interfacing with customers by telephone and email
- Raising and processing quotes on Salesforce and SAP for reactive site visits
- Being aware of technicians’/engineers’ technical ability to support effective planning
- Provision of all relevant information prior to engineers’ visits
- Ordering and booking spare parts to boot stock for all site visits
- Supporting our Smart Support Systems
- Arranging parts to be sent to site
- Supporting tooling administration activities
- Assisting with background operational and administrative tasks to support the efficient running of the planning function and wider service team

- Previous planning background is essential
