As the Customer Documentation Specialist, you will be responsible for creating, managing, and maintaining accurate and comprehensive project documentation throughout the project lifecycle. The role ensures that all documentation is clearly structured, version-controlled, and accessible to stakeholders, supporting effective project delivery and compliance.
Main Responsibilities:
- Develop, write, maintain and submit project documentation including: Project plans, Requirements documents, Process workflows, Technical specifications, User guides and manuals.
- Complete and coordinate customer questionnaires.
- Ensure documentation is consistent, clear, and aligned with organisational standards and templates.
- Manage document version control and maintain document repositories.
- Collaborate with project managers, stakeholders, and technical teams to gather accurate information.
- Review and update documentation throughout the project lifecycle.
- Ensure all documentation is stored securely and is easily accessible.
- Support audits and compliance processes by maintaining accurate records.
- Assist in the preparation of reports, presentations, and project updates.
- Attend project progress meetings with internal and external stakeholders.
- Implement and improve documentation processes and tools.
Qualifications + Profile:
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
- Strong attention to detail and organisational skills.
- Collate all approved documentation into a clear and user-friendly Final Data Dossier.
- Proficiency in documentation tools (e.g., Microsoft Office, SharePoint, PDF, Docboss).
- Knowledge of document management and version control practices.
- Ability to manage multiple priorities and meet deadlines.
- Strong stakeholder engagement and collaboration skills.
