We are looking for a Managing Director MHT (m/f/d), who will take full strategic and operational responsibility for our subsidiary and contribute significantly to its successful positioning within the Endress+Hauser Level+Pressure organization.

MHT Technology Ltd is a leading international provider of solutions in tank gauging, terminal automation, and inventory management for the oil, gas, and petrochemical industries. Based in Melsonby (UK), you will work with a highly specialized team to shape the future of a technology-driven business within the E+H Group.

What is the role about?

In this role, you will take holistic leadership of MHT Technology Ltd and act as a key interface between group strategy and local execution. You will drive growth, profitability, and portfolio development, strengthen collaboration with international stakeholders, and ensure that technological innovation is translated into scalable, market-ready solutions.

What will you do?

  • Take full responsibility for the strategy, performance, and organization of MHT
  • Define, communicate, and consistently implement the company strategy
  • Translate the Endress+Hauser Level+Pressure IMS strategy into concrete actions
  • Lead and develop a team of approx. 30 employees and foster a culture of ownership and collaboration
  • Shape the sales strategy and actively contribute to key account management and negotiations
  • Build sustainable and scalable business models and go-to-market approaches
  • Establish the guiding principles and governance for portfolio development with R&D, ensuring an effective balance between customer-specific solutions and standardization
  • Ensure operational excellence in sales, project execution, service, and support
  • Strengthen collaboration with internal stakeholders (e.g. in UK & Germany)
  • Ensure quality, compliance, and governance according to relevant standards (e.g., ISO 9001)

What do you bring?

  • Hold a degree in engineering, IT, business, or a comparable field
  • Have proven senior-level leadership experience (e.g., Managing Director, General Manager)
  • Bring experience with P&L responsibility and sustainable value creation
  • Have strong expertise in B2B solution business, ideally combining hardware, software, and services
  • Have industry experience in energy, oil & gas, chemicals, or process automation
  • Possess experience in sales and in building or further developing commercial organizations
  • Operate confidently in matrix and corporate structures and excel in stakeholder management
  • Lead with empathy, persuasiveness, and assertiveness
  • Work in a hands-on, entrepreneurial, and highly accountable manner
  • Communicate confidently in an international environment and value intercultural collaboration
