Internal Sales Engineer for our Sales centre in South Manchester, as an Internal Sales Engineer you will be required to work in the Sales Process providing sales and technical support to our customers across the UK.
Main responsibilities of the Internal Sales Engineer
- You will manage and pre-qualify incoming customer enquiries, technically, commercially and negotiating of terms
- You will produce clear and accurate proposals
- You will actively participate in the utilisation of salesforce. com and SAP for the purpose of cooperation and collaboration of business opportunities.
- You will maintain the sales pipeline with forecast date and probability and manage the pipeline from open opportunities to closing the sale.
- You will work closely with all teams to develop and improve customer performance
- You will own and manage customer accounts, including database maintenance
- You will enhance product knowledge with inhouse training
- You will promoting our digital sales platform
- You will liaise with colleagues across the business to better serve our customers
- You will continuously identify cross-selling opportunities
- Qualification + Profile of the Internal Sales Engineer
- Being educated to technical degree level, or equivalent relevant industry qualification is advantageous.
- English language and Maths GCSE
- You ideally will have experience in the engineering field, ideally have instrumentation and automation experience but not essential.
- You will have sales experience within an engineering environment.
- You will have excellent communication skills and telephone/digital (Microsoft Teams) knowledge.
- You will have the ability to multi-task and work under pressure and the capacity to work as a member of a team and as an individual.
- You will be comfortable with a consultative selling approach with questioning techniques
