Salary: Up to £33.5K per annum, DOE + Overtime (paid at 1.5x for hours above 38, 2x on Sundays)

We are Endoline Machinery Ltd, a UK based manufacturer of end of line packaging machinery including case erectors, loaders, sealers and conveyors. We specialise in the design, manufacture and installation of high quality end of line packaging machinery.
Due to growth, we are currently recruiting for an Electrical Fitter to join our skilled Production team. You'll be responsible for assembling high quality components and specialist sub-assemblies for our customers across a variety of industries, worldwide.
As an Electrical Fitter you will be specifically responsible for:
- Field wiring on the shop floor, wiring multicore cables from sub-assemblies into the electrical panel
- Panel wiring from electrical drawings (cell/bench); building panels from scratch from electrical drawings designed by our Electrical Design Engineer
- I/O testing machinery prior to PDI
- Basic electrical machine checks prior to PDI
- Recording any errors with electrical circuits and passing to quality department/design office
- Conducting routine inspections to assess the functionality and condition of returned machinery
- Working to set time frames and build schedules
In order to be successful in this role you must have / be:
- Previous experience as an Electrical Fitter and strong machine wiring skills - this is essential
- Proven experience in building bespoke or special purpose machinery
- Electrical qualification - NVQ Level 3 or equivalent
- Good problem-solving skills
- Continuous improvement mindset
- Customer focus and desire to meet the highest levels of quality
- Good written and verbal communication skills
- Able to work to deadlines to meet customer needs
- Collaborative working style and the ability to thrive in a team environment
- H&S conscious
- Strong IT skills - Word, Excel, Outlook preferable
This role is based on-site at our factory in Biggleswade. We supply all of our Electrical Fitters with any specialist equipment required to carry out the role but do expect you to provide your own hand tools whenever possible.
