ENDIPREV is an international reference in the provision of specialized services for wind power, namely commissioning, corrective and preventive maintenance, project management for onshore and offshore wind energy equipment. We work worldwide in close partnership with the main manufacturers of wind turbines (OEM) across more than 30 countries, with offices in Germany, Spain, United States, Netherlands, Portugal, Sweden, Norway, France, and the UK. We are prepared for any challenge.
We are currently looking for Commissioning/Troubleshooting Technicians to work on wind turbines across the United Kingdom, willing to travel as needed.
Description of Tasks- Perform servicing electrical machines as defined by the project manager (commissioning, diagnosis, operation, and maintenance of wind turbines).
- Read, analyze, understand, and complete the relevant paperwork (work instructions, safety instructions, checklists, technical standards and regulations, safety regulations) from ENDIPREV, the customer, or other external entities.
- Be aware and informed of the risks for each task and ensure compliance with applicable safety standards.
- Follow and respect ENDIPREV policies and safety standards.
- Maintain proper care of ENDIPREVβs tools (including but not limited to personal protective equipment) and vehicles.
- Electrical, mechanical, and hydraulic technical knowledge (acquired through professional experience or academic background).
- Experience in wind turbine generator (WTG) commissioning or troubleshooting projects β onshore and/or offshore β including training (mandatory).
- Safety-driven mindset: fulfillment of safety, hygiene, and health rules at work and environmental protection, preventing occupational and environmental risks and accidents.
- Communication skills: ability to communicate orally and in writing with clarity, fluency, and accuracy.
- Problem resolution: ability to analyze problems and make decisions in the required time, with available human and material resources, acting effectively.
- Teamwork: ability to be involved and committed to the working group, face ENDIPREV's goals and challenges, adopt a participatory and collaborative posture, integrate contributions, and actively accept the diversity of opinions.
- UK resident or with permission to work in the UK (mandatory).
- Physical requirements: able to work in extreme weather conditions, work flexible hours, physically fit for daily use of personal protective equipment (harness, helmet, lanyards, fall arrester, approx. 20 kg), and, depending on the wind turbine (if a lift is not available), able to climb 80 m multiple times a day.
