Conker is offering a two-week work experience placement within its Art Department. The first week will take place during the pre-production phase, with the second week occurring during the shoot. This structure will provide the successful candidate with valuable insight into the full production process and a genuine experience of working on a scripted production.

The primary purpose of this placement is to support the needs of the department while developing practical skills, which may include:

  • Assisting with set builds
  • Painting and finishing
  • Sourcing and gathering props
  • Maintaining organisation of set dressing
  • Supporting the team with a variety of ad hoc tasks as required

No prior experience is required for this placement. We are looking for someone with a strong eagerness to learn and a genuine passion for scripted television. The ideal candidate will thrive in a dynamic, fast-paced environment and enjoy working collaboratively as part of a team. A positive, proactive attitude is essential, along with a willingness to contribute to shared tasks. The ability to use initiative when faced with minor challenges will also be beneficial.

Contract Type: Two-week paid work placement, from 22nd June to 3rd July 2026.

Hours: 9:30am – 6:00pm – 37.5 hours per week, Monday to Friday. These hours might be flexible and are to be discussed and agreed with your manager before the placement begins.
