EE aims to develop leading edge electronic engineering expertise, capabilities and technologies.

The Interconnects Team forms a valuable part of this, tasked with providing a professional design service, embracing new and existing technology to meet quality and timescales, ensuring customer satisfaction.\\n\\nThe Interconnects Team are Primary Technical Experts for Interconnectivity for the company and responsible for the design of cables and interconnecting mediums. We provide exemplary technical expertise and technological innovation while enjoying our design work.\\n\\nResponsibilities:\\n\\n• Interpret sub-system requirements\\n\\n• Generate electrical schematics and cable design definitions utilising Zuken E3.\\n\\n• Provide assistance, guidance, and issue resolution for E3 users and the ability to utilise & integrate Zuken E3 throughout the product development lifecycle\\n\\n• Carry out investigations into a full range of cable problems and issues; developing and preparing solutions, either individually or as a member of a project team\\n\\n• Provide guidance and support to other areas of the business in order to resolve any manufacturing issues, as well as supporting functional and environmental product trials.\\n\\nSkillset/experience required:\\n\\n• A minimum 2-5 years’ experience in the use of E3.Cable and related products (E3.Formboard/ E3.3D Transformer beneficial).\\n\\n• A proven ability to define, deploy, and refine processes and best practices within E3. – including; electrical topology, wiring schematics and 2D manufacturing drawing processes and standards.\\n\\n• Proven ability to develop and deliver technical instruction to E3 users.\\n\\n• Thorough understanding of product data management and change management within Windchill or similar.\\n\\n• The ability to design cable assemblies based upon electrical constraints such as current, screening, signal types, volt drop, EMC and environmental requirements.\\n\\n• An appreciation of cable assembly production/process engineering.\\n\\n• Good verbal and written communication skills.\\n\\n• Experience of PTC CREO Cabling would be beneficial
