Endeavour Recruitment are seeking a Qualified Flying Instructor in Stockbridge for a major Defence Company.
Our client is working to create a safe and secure world, together. If you join our leading client you will play your part as a Qualified Flying Instructor at their Middle Wallop site.
The Role
As a Qualified Flying Instructor, you’ll have a role that’s out of the ordinary. You’ll support candidates at Middle Wallop aspiring to become the next generation of pilots through grading on the Grob 115E Tutor Aircraft.
Day-to-day responsibilities include:
- Completing end-of-course reports.
- Actively encouraging and maintaining a culture of military ethos throughout the training program and embracing Student Care Directives.
- Maintaining the highest level of safety and quality throughout operations.
- Ensuring all communication, documentation, and typed material meet the required standards.
- Completing Staff Continuation Training requirements.
This role is full-time and based onsite at Middle Wallop.
Essential Experience:
- Previous military flying experience with a minimum CFS B1 QFI/QHI category.
Qualifications:
- Hold a Class 1 medical certificate meeting MOD requirements.
- Minimum of a Commercial Pilot’s Licence, Unrestricted Instructor Rating (with Aerobatics), and a valid Instrument Rating (A) SE SP.
- DTTT V2 (Defence Train the Trainer).
- Completion of a Flying Supervisors Course/Flight Authorisers Course.
Security Clearance: The successful candidate must be able to achieve and maintain Security Check (SC) clearance for this role.
