JOB LOCATION: Bolton

SECURITY CLEARANCE LEVEL: SC, BPSS

Start DURATION: 6+ Months Likely to be extended

WORK PATTERN: Full Time ONSITE

RATE: £60 - £65 Per hr on Umbrella (Inside IR35)

Overview: We have a phenomenal opportunity for experienced Electronic Design Engineers to play a leading role in the support of production activities at our state of the art manufacturing facilities. Working within Production Design Support (PDS) is a highly rewarding role as you not only see designs coming to life in the manufacturing environment but you can help to shape the design of the products and test equipment, delivering support to our customers.

Role Requirements (skills, training and qualifications): You will act as the interface between our design teams and our manufacturing teams while working alongside other support engineers to provide knowledge and support. Whilst the primary aim is focused on highly advanced module missile programmes and subsystems, there is also scope to work on other unique opportunities including support to launcher assemblies. The role offers the candidate a true engineering challenge in their core discipline(s), whilst providing scope for personal growth and development in other areas of electronics.

Skillset / Experience Required: To be suitable for this role, individuals will be able to demonstrate a number of the following attributes:

  • Degree qualified (or equivalent industry experience) with experience of designing product/systems and/or providing support to designs through the manufacturing phase of the product lifecycle.
  • Proven experience in the design of one or more of the following disciplines: Digital and Analogue electronics, Power Electronics, RF.
