Contract RAS Software Expert urgently required for an exciting project in the aerospace industry. The appointed contractor will play an important role in the research and design software architecture with very high RAS (Reliability, Availability, Serviceability) level, RAS technologies, features and solutions for the NFV (Network Function Virtualization), SDN (Software Defined Networking) and 5G networks.
Responsibilities:
- Research in applying architecture and design technologies and lifecycle process management from aerospace industry as best practice for telecom industry to guide the delivery of telecom products with aviation-grade RAS.
- Research and design software architecture with very high RAS level, RAS technologies, features and solutions for meeting the RAS requirements and challenges in systems and networks.
- Propose dependability strategy and roadmap planning for software platform and products.
- Participate in the related international standards organizations and forums.
Requirements:
- Master or higher degree in Computer Science, Aerospace Engineering related, Mathematics or Telecommunications;
- 10 years + R&D experience in aerospace industry;
- 10 years + software architecture or software sub-system R&D experience in the aerospace industry;
- RAS knowledge in aerospace industry is preferred;
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills to work in a multi-culture team environment;
