Endeavour Recruitment has an excellent career opportunity for a Lead Software Developer / Senior Developer to join our Global Leading client in Basildon. We are looking for a Lead Developer to join a dynamic software development team working on creating next generation solutions for the industry. Salary for this role in region of £45K to £50K.

Requirements for the Role:

1. Application Development Experience and Associated Tools
2. Understand Requirements and Produce High/Low Level Designs
3. Demonstrate Understanding of Business Processes and Functions
4. Ability to Document Technical Specifications
5. Strong Analytical and Communication Skills Essential
6. Mentor and Lead Team
7. Provide On-Call Support for Business Critical Applications

Essential Skill Set:

1. SSL certificate installation, application usage and validation
2. Test case implementation using JUNIT, etc. along with strong debugging skills
3. RDBMS in Oracle
4. Web & Application servers (Apache and JBoss preferred)
5. Clustered server environments will be advantageous
6. Strong testing process knowledge & experience in tools like Quality Center & QTP would be advantageous
7. Strong experience in UNIX & shell scripting

Advantageous Skills:

1. Experience of full SDLC
2. Jira
3. C++, Visual C++, C#, VB, .NET, COM/COM+
