We are currently recruiting for a Senior J2EE Developer with 5-10 years\’ experience to join a Large European client based in Brussels, Belgium.

Duties:

• Analyse web and desktop applications.
• Improve existing applications in two ways: developing new functionalities and fixing issues of previous versions.
• Test new web components and technologies.
• Take part in the preparation (analysis and development) of the migration of the desktop application to a J2EE web environment.
• Release and test new versions of web applications in different environments.

Required technical skills:

• Frameworks/libraries: Spring MVC, Spring Core, JSP, Hibernate, Spring Data JPA, JSON, Webservices, Eclipse

Database: Oracle 10/11, PL/SQL, Toad, SQL

Applications server: Tomcat, Weblogic 12c
