Endeavour Recruitment has an excellent new opportunity for an IT Contracting and Procurement Consultant to work for a multinational giant in London. The duration of this role is for 10 months and the hourly rate for this role is €75.
Required Skills:
- Minimum 4 years of experience in contracting and procurement
- Experience in IT Procurement will be an advantage
- End to end sourcing experience
- Ability to influence stakeholders at low to medium seniority levels
- Team player with the ability to build relationships effectively
- Good experience in reading contracts and identifying risks
- Good understanding of Contract Law and contract execution experience of IT contracts will be a plus
- Organized and able to prioritize tasks
- Advanced knowledge of MS Office with focus on MS Word and MS Excel
- Experience in SAP Ariba will be an advantage
Candidate Profile and Responsibilities:
- The individual should be a go-getter, able to operate with minimum supervision and drive projects to completion
- Able to read IT software contracts and refer to requirements to determine whether there are any gaps
- Able to identify contractual risks in IT contracts and raise them to the team lead
- Able to run end to end sourcing projects, working as the CP Lead for contracts
- Work with various internal departments i.e. CP, Legal, IT, Information Security, etc. in a matrix organisation
- Negotiate commercial and contractual clauses with vendors to ensure the client is contractually protected
- Own/run market scan, RFx, negotiation with vendors utilizing internal processes and tools
- Demonstrate good communication skills, both written and verbal
- Extensive experience dealing with stakeholders
- Partnering with internal and external global stakeholders to ensure that proper contract controls are identified and put into the contracts
- Staying compliant with Contracting & Procurement guidelines and principles
