Calling urgently for ETL developers for an exciting REMOTE contract opportunity to join a financial sector client, based in Sweden!

Our client is looking for an ETL developer who has experience within the financial industry and working in multicultural environments.

The selected ETL developer will work closely with Scrum Master, Product Owner, Business Intelligence Architect, Data Analyst, as well as business stakeholders.

The role:

Key Responsibilities:

1. Develop common Enterprise Data Warehouse platform based on Informatica PowerCenter and Oracle database
2. Design secure and reliable workflows for staging, cleansing, and loading with high performance
3. Work closely with business stakeholders to understand requirements, processes, and products as input to solution specifications of a development task
4. Work with the Data Governance organization to ensure alignment or additions to the current Business Glossary definitions.
5. Populate data marts with quality data for use with BI solutions
6. Work with metadata management

Required experience/knowledge:

1. Knowledge and experience from the financial sector
2. Good knowledge and experience with databases and data modeling, preferably Oracle (and SQL)
3. Good knowledge of data quality and handling quality issues
4. Extensive knowledge in Informatica PowerCenter
5. Knowledge of business intelligence tools (QlikView etc.) is a plus
6. Experience with ETL tools and processing
7. Experience with data lake concepts
8. Experience working with data quality
9. Experience designing data warehouse solutions
10. Experience with master data management
11. Experience with metadata and reference data management
12. Good documentation skills
13. Ability to work both individually and collaboratively
14. Structured, analytical, and accurate
15. Fluent in English, with awareness and handling of cultural differences
16. Understand business needs and translate them into technical terms and solutions
17. Strong will to gain new knowledge
