Endpoint Central / Desktop Central Consultant / Project Manager
Fully Remote
6 Month contract with extensions or the option of a permanent role.
Our banking client requires a skilled Endpoint Central (formerly Desktop Central) Specialist to join them on an ongoing rolling contract.
The role requires hands-on technical experience as well as project and people management experience. They want someone who can push through projects independently and efficiently. The role will have various elements to it, including the technical Endpoint Central side, and you will also be responsible for licenses and mentoring/helping juniors develop their skills.
The Role:
- Be responsible for and project manage all aspects of Endpoint Protection.
- Bring strong subject matter knowledge in relation to Endpoint Protection/Security, including but not limited to: encryption techniques, event monitoring, anti-malware, and endpoint protection software.
- Ensure endpoint security tools are maintained and updated (patched) in accordance with the project patching policy throughout the contractual period.
- Work in a disciplined and structured manner.
- Provide advice and guidance as may be appropriate.
- Proactive problem solving and management.
- Manage issues.
