Endeavour Recruitment has an exciting opportunity for a Senior JAVA Developer for an initial 3 month contract.
The role is for a large Financial Services client in Amsterdam paying β¬60 per hour. Business fluency in Dutch and English will be required.
The role sits within a team of Java Engineers, responsible for the development of an in-house application within the Risk & Compliance function of the business. The application is based on a RESTful API.
You will be a driven, analytical Java engineer who excels in identifying and resolving problems.
You will need a solid mix of the following skills and experience:
- MSc. In Computer Science (or equivalent)
- 3+ yearsβ experience of developing large-scale / mission-critical systems
- Experience of Continuous Delivery
- Sound knowledge OS fundamentals & relational databases (Oracle)
- Excellent knowledge of Java EE7
- Experience of SCRUM / AGILE
- Experience of building RESTful API
- Experience of Jersey 2 / JAX-RS frameworks
- AngularJS
