Endeavour Recruitment has an excellent contract opportunity with longer term career prospects for our Top client based in East Grinstead. Responsible to fill the gap between business and technology. Liaise with the development team to ensure they deliver the required solutions for the business. Will be working in a .Net/C# environment. A key role joining a new multi-disciplined team to drive forward a large list of items of work.

Duties:

  • Create qualified stories of work based on RFCs and bug reports.
  • Preparing work for developers to take into sprints ensuring inclusion of clear acceptance criteria and clear description of work requirements.
  • Gathering and writing requirements and specifications from a number of stakeholders, challenging working processes to ensure requirements and solutions make best use of technology and offer efficiencies.
  • Work closely with the development team to maximise the efficiency of development with the creation of work items.
  • Develop relationships across multiple areas of the business and departments.
  • Supporting an agile software development team in a fast-paced environment.
  • Help plan and run workshops.
  • Conduct meetings with system users and managers to gather requirements and acceptance criteria.
  • Join as a member of a multi-disciplined team working in an Agile working method and take a key role to support and drive them forward.
  • Contribute to retrospective meetings to help maximise team efficiency.
  • Help build strong working relationships with stakeholders across the entire organisation.
  • Able to demonstrate the ability to build rapport and engagement with key stakeholders across the entire business and support business transformation and change alongside the delivery of new innovations.
  • Pragmatic approach to work levels ensuring always producing clear work items and acceptance criteria for pickup of work.
  • Ability to manage multiple stories.
  • Possesses strong intellectual integrity, critical thinking, and problem-solving skills.
  • Intellectually inquisitive.

  • Agile/Scrum methodology experience.

  • Some experience of development work would be highly desirable.
