We are looking for a motivated and detail-oriented intern to support our Company Secretariat team with database management in respect of our legal entities across multiple jurisdictions. You will establish a record of the foundational level of corporate data and practices which will assist the whole organisation and set the function up for success. This internship offers a valuable opportunity to gain flexible, hands-on experience in corporate compliance within a dynamic, international mining company.
KEY ACCOUNTABILITIES / RESPONSABILITÉS PRINCIPALES
- Assist in collecting, reviewing, and uploading corporate information to our entities database, including engagement with third parties as required.
- Ensure our group subsidiaries are fully represented on our entities database and up to date.
- Monitor and follow up on missing, incomplete, or expired data.
- In due course, respond to requests from the organisation for basic corporate data (e.g. structure charts, constitutional documents), deliver training and ensure the levels of access to the database are set up and understood by others in the organisation.
- Contribute to the development and refinement of templates and process improvements.
SKILLS, KNOWLEDGE & EXPERIENCE / COMPÉTENCES & EXPÉRIENCE
- Currently pursuing the Chartered Governance Qualifying Program.
- Strong attention to detail and excellent organisational skills.
- Adaptable and able to work across a variety of tasks.
- Basic understanding of legal entities and constitutional documents.
- Proficient in Microsoft Office Suite (Excel, Word, Outlook). Any database experience would be an advantage.
- Strong written and verbal communication skills.
- Proactive team player with a willingness to learn, curiosity, and ability to take initiative.
