This is an exciting opportunity for an experienced marketing professional to join our senior leadership team and lead our Group Marketing function, Internal Communications strategy and Customer Contact Centre.

The Opportunity

Reporting to the Executive Leadership Team, the Head of Marketing & Internal Communications will be responsible for developing and delivering a Group-wide marketing strategy that drives customer acquisition, enhances brand awareness and supports the commercial objectives of each franchise.

Alongside external marketing, you will lead our internal communications strategy, ensuring colleagues across the Group feel informed, engaged and connected with our vision, values and business priorities.

You will also have leadership responsibility for our Customer Contact Centre, ensuring exceptional customer service standards, effective lead management and continuous improvement across customer interactions.

This is a highly visible leadership role requiring a commercially focused, creative and collaborative individual who thrives in a fast-paced retail environment.

Key Responsibilities

  • Develop and implement the Group marketing strategy across all dealership locations and franchises.
  • Lead the annual marketing plan and budget, ensuring maximum return on investment.
  • Drive customer acquisition, retention and loyalty through innovative marketing campaigns.
  • Manage digital marketing activity including websites, SEO, paid advertising, CRM campaigns, email marketing and social media.
  • Work closely with manufacturer partners to maximise marketing opportunities and ensure brand compliance.
  • Analyse campaign performance and customer insights to continuously improve marketing effectiveness.
  • Lead product launches, dealership events and promotional campaigns.
  • Internal Communications
  • Develop and deliver an engaging internal communications strategy that connects colleagues across the Group.
  • Produce regular business updates, newsletters, leadership communications and colleague engagement campaigns.
  • Support the communication of strategic business initiatives, organisational change and company values.
  • Partner with HR and senior leaders to promote colleague engagement, wellbeing, diversity and inclusion initiatives.
  • Ensure messaging is consistent, engaging and aligned to the Endeavour Automotive culture.
  • Lead and develop the Group Customer Contact Centre team.
  • Drive performance through KPI management, coaching and continuous development.
  • Improve customer experience across all inbound and outbound customer interactions.
  • Ensure leads are managed effectively and converted into sales and aftersales opportunities.
  • Identify opportunities to improve efficiency, service quality and customer satisfaction.
  • Leadership
  • Lead, inspire and develop the Group Marketing and Customer Contact Centre teams.
  • Foster a culture of innovation, accountability and continuous improvement.
  • Build strong relationships with Heads of Business, Brand Directors and senior stakeholders.
  • Manage external marketing agencies and suppliers.
  • Monitor budgets and ensure effective cost management.

About You

You’ll be an experienced marketing leader with a commercial mindset and a passion for delivering outstanding customer and colleague experiences.

You will be equally comfortable presenting marketing strategy to Directors as you are coaching your team or developing engaging communications for over 700 colleagues.

You’ll enjoy building relationships across the business and influencing stakeholders at every level.

  • What We’re Looking For
  • Significant experience in a senior marketing leadership role.
  • Previous experience managing multi-site or multi-brand marketing activities preferably within a large automotive environment
  • Proven people leadership experience with the ability to motivate and develop high-performing teams.
  • Experience leading customer service or contact centre operations would be highly advantageous.
  • Excellent communication, presentation and stakeholder management skills.
  • Commercially aware with strong analytical and budgeting skills.
  • Highly organised with exceptional attention to detail.
  • Full UK driving licence.

Experience within the automotive sector is desirable but not essential for the right candidate.
