Reportingto the Deputy Principal, you will be responsible for the oversight of pupilbehaviour and wellbeing across the school, as well as working closely with thePrincipal to monitor safeguarding and child protection reports. You will modelbest practice and enable successful learning and achievement by young peopleand sustained improvement in their spiritual, moral, social, cultural, mentaland physical well-being in preparation for the opportunities, responsibilitiesand experiences of adult life.
Someyoung people can behave in a way that is challenging to others andpart of our role is to teach young people safer and more effective ways ofcommunicating their needs, however a level of challenge still exists; this canbe physical or a reluctance to engage. For these reasons thisrole requires someone who is physically fit. You must also be an effective,confident communicator and able to keep accurate records such as the recordingof learning outcomes with excellent attention to detail. You will demonstratean approach of facilitation and reflective practice within the role.
