What You\’ll Do:
This is a compliance-focused role, with the key objective of ensuring compliance with Indirect Tax (VAT, GST etc) laws and regulations across the global businesses of the Endeavor and TKO group, excluding the United States. In addition to compliance activities, real opportunities will exist to partner with the business & the wider tax team on commercial activity.
Working with the financial controllers, this will include ensuring timely and accurate returns, payments and overseeing audit enquiries etc. You will be responsible for identifying training needs in local accounting and business unit teams, and delivering this training to ensure better identification of indirect tax issues as they arise.
This role will involve developing system efficiencies and operational effectiveness for reporting and compliance purposes. You will be expected to make strategic recommendations relating to improving the compliance environment (e.g. outsourcing, software solutions etc).
In conjunction with the International Tax team, you will act as a trusted advisor on issues such as place and time of supply, supporting on M&A and restructuring, and the indirect tax implications of key contracts entered into by the business. You will be required to research and document technical tax and tax accounting issues as required and manage the communication with HMRC and other tax authorities of VAT related disclosures or queries.
You will act as the subject matter expert on the implementation of GST or VAT in new territories that Endeavor and / or TKO expand into, and manage any projects where GST or VAT is being implemented for the first time or undergoing significant change, in particular with the roll out of digital reporting and e-invoicing requirements.

You Have These:
- Relevant accounting or tax qualification – e.g. ACA / CIMA / ACCA / ATA or equivalent.
- Must be inquisitive and willing to challenge the “status quo”.
- Must be able to work calmly under pressure and work as part of a team.
- Proactive and self-motivated.
- A “finisher” with the genuine drive and commitment to deliver.
- Strong working knowledge of the Indirect Tax compliance processes, from data extraction (preferably from SAP) to return submission.
- Established & relevant International Tax experience required with excellent knowledge of VAT & Customs compliance across multiple international territories.
- Ability to work with IT/SAP on process improvements.
- Outstanding and persuasive communication (written and verbal) skills. You will be required to work with and influence stakeholders across the business.
- Good understanding of general accounting principles and sound commercial awareness.
- Must be able to plan and organise work to meet deadlines and determine priorities.
- Must be able to work on own initiative to identify problem areas & reach conclusion.
- Comfortable with working in a multi-cultural fast-paced business environment.
