Our Business Analysts help to identify client needs, analyze processes, and propose solutions to align with our clients' strategic goals. While fostering efficiency and ensuring organizational success through systematic approaches, they also mediate between clients and engineering teams to ensure project clarity. As a Business Analyst at Endava you will be charged with engaging with our London and UK based clients to:
- Understand our clients' processes, ways of working, people, technologies, system and application development work and strategic drivers.
- Identify issues, challenges and opportunities to make improvements.
- Identify resolutions and build remediation plans.
- Work with nearshore engineering teams to shape delivery, delivery customer strategy, build user stories and prioritise backlogs.
- Run workshops and facilitate working sessions with large numbers of people.
- Support Project and program managers and their activities.
Responsibilities:
- Establishing and building relationship with the client’s stakeholder through deep understanding business domain and consultancy.
- Gathering and analyzing processes, operations, systems and business requirements.
- Providing solution directions and recommendations based on the client’s needs, environment specifics and industry trends.
- Creating and keeping up to date product backlog (creating user stories and acceptance criteria from the product vision and epics).
- Working closely with engineering team and ensuring that user stories are implemented in line with the product vision and timelines.
- Understanding the market reasoning behind given requirement and ensuring that development team deliver it according to global business goals and feature specifics.
Qualifications:
- Strong payments domain expertise: proven experience in payment initiation, acquiring, processing, gateways, and integrations.
- Solid understanding of end-to-end payment lifecycles and operational stability considerations.
- Technical awareness: comfortable working with APIs, integration patterns, and modern distributed architectures.
- Analytical rigor and attention to detail: precision in requirement definition, impact analysis, and traceability, particularly in complex payment environments.
- Proactive and resilient in ambiguous environments: capable of navigating evolving or partially defined contexts.
- Takes initiative to obtain missing information, follows up diplomatically, and drives clarity and decisions.
- Risk and dependency awareness: able to anticipate implementation risks, assess impact, escalate appropriately, and recommend practical mitigation paths across teams and systems.
- Strong collaboration and communication skills: effective team player who can work with one or more development teams while building trusted relationships with client stakeholders.
- Agile/SAFe experience: experienced in scaled Agile delivery environments, with practical involvement in PI planning, backlog refinements and iterative delivery.
- Data-driven and AI-aware mindset: understand how data, automation and AI-driven capabilities can enhance payment experiences, operational resilience, and growth initiatives.
