We are seeking an experienced and strategic

Head of Infrastructure Operations to lead our global infrastructure organization and ensure the delivery of secure, reliable, scalable, and high-performing technology services across the business.

This senior leadership role is responsible for the operational management, governance, and continuous improvement of enterprise infrastructure services.

The successful candidate will provide strategic direction, lead high-performing teams, oversee critical technology platforms, and ensure infrastructure capabilities effectively support organizational objectives and future growth.

The role requires a strong leader who can balance operational excellence, risk management, service quality, and organizational priorities while driving modernization and transformation initiatives.

  • What You’ll Do
  • Define and execute the infrastructure operations strategy aligned with organizational goals and technology roadmaps.
  • Lead the delivery of highly available, resilient, and secure infrastructure services.
  • Establish and maintain infrastructure standards, policies, governance frameworks, and operational controls.
  • Drive continuous improvement initiatives focused on service quality, automation, and operational efficiency.
  • Partner with senior stakeholders to ensure infrastructure services enable business success.
  • Operational Management
  • Oversee day-to-day infrastructure operations across network, server, cloud, storage, workplace, and platform environments.
  • Ensure achievement of service availability, performance, reliability, and security targets.
  • Lead major incident management, problem management, change management, and operational risk mitigation activities.
  • Monitor and improve operational KPIs, SLAs, and service performance metrics.
  • Ensure effective capacity planning, lifecycle management, and operational readiness.
  • Infrastructure Transformation & Delivery
  • Lead the successful transition of projects and new technologies into operational support.
  • Collaborate with architecture, engineering, security, and delivery teams to ensure supportability and operational readiness.
  • Drive modernization initiatives including cloud adoption, automation, standardization, and infrastructure optimization.
  • Evaluate emerging technologies and recommend strategic improvements to infrastructure capabilities.
  • Security, Compliance & Risk
  • Partner with Information Security teams to ensure infrastructure services remain secure and compliant.
  • Support audit activities and regulatory requirements.
  • Maintain disaster recovery, resilience, and business continuity capabilities.
  • Identify and mitigate operational, technology, and service delivery risks.
  • Own infrastructure operational and capital budgets.
  • Identify opportunities for cost optimization and efficiency improvements.
  • Manage strategic supplier relationships and contract negotiations.
  • Monitor vendor performance and ensure service-level commitments are achieved.
  • Lead, coach, and develop infrastructure managers, technical leaders, and operational teams.
  • Foster a culture of accountability, collaboration, innovation, and continuous learning.
  • Support workforce planning, succession planning, and capability development.
  • Build and maintain high-performing teams capable of supporting a global organization.

Qualifications

  • Required Experience
  • 15+ years of experience in IT infrastructure, operations, or technology services.
  • Significant leadership experience managing enterprise-scale infrastructure environments.
  • Proven experience leading geographically distributed operational and support teams.
  • Strong background in service delivery, operational governance, and technology operations management.
  • Demonstrated success delivering infrastructure transformation and modernization initiatives.
  • Experience managing budgets, suppliers, contracts, and strategic technology partnerships.
  • Experience supporting audit, compliance, and risk management activities.
