Company Description Technology is our how. And people are our why. For over two decades, we have been harnessing technology to drive meaningful change. By combining world‑class engineering, industry expertise and a people‑centric mindset, we consult and partner with leading brands from various industries to create dynamic platforms and intelligent digital experiences that drive innovation and transform businesses. From prototype to real‑world impact – be part of a global shift by doing work that matters.

The successful candidate will be required to take accountability for the delivery of engineering scope across a large (~100‑150 FTEs) team, running for multiple years. Furthermore, the TPM will support the shift across all teams to an Agentic delivery model, using Endava’s new AI Methodology dava.flow. The successful candidate will receive training in our methodology and will be tasked with supporting the engineering teams through their journey to agentic delivery. The role sits in the onshore client‑facing “anchor team”, which in turn runs a number of workstreams and delivery teams across our European nearshore locations. This role represents an exciting opportunity to join a fast‑growing team delivering a strategic project for Endava over the next 3‑5 years.

Specific skillsets include, but are not limited to:

  • End‑to‑End Engineering Delivery Ensure that committed scope is delivered in line with product priorities, quality standards, and timelines. Oversee delivery execution across Scrum teams, ensuring alignment between sprint‑level activities and broader programme objectives. Manage delivery risks, track progress against milestones, and ensure corrective actions are taken where delivery deviates from plan. Shape delivery approach and execution strategy in collaboration with Engineering Leadership, particularly in scenarios where standard processes are insufficient due to complexity or constraints. Experience with AI‑enabled delivery techniques, agentic tooling, or AI‑assisted software engineering would be a strong advantage. We are particularly interested in candidates who are curious about how AI can improve delivery outcomes and who are motivated to continuously develop their agentic delivery skills, practices, and techniques. Support delivery teams moving from a standard Agile/scrum model, to more agentic delivery.
  • Cross‑Functional Stakeholder Alignment Act as a central coordination point across Product, DevOps, Architecture, Security, Audit, and Delivery teams. Drive alignment on scope, priorities, sequencing, and delivery approach, ensuring all stakeholders operate with a shared understanding of objectives and constraints. Facilitate discussions to resolve conflicting priorities and ensure that trade‑offs are clearly understood and agreed. Support cross‑team planning ceremonies and alignment forums (e.g., PI Planning) and ensure engineering considerations are fully represented.
  • Engineering Planning and Timeline Management Lead the creation and ongoing refinement of engineering delivery plans across multiple streams. Translate high‑level product priorities into detailed, executable timelines, ensuring dependencies, risks, and capacity constraints are accounted for. Work closely with Product Managers, Product Owners, and Delivery teams to ensure plans remain aligned with business objectives. Continuously monitor progress against plan, identify slippage early, and drive re‑planning activities where required. Support capacity planning and resource allocation decisions across teams to optimise delivery.
  • Release and Deployment Coordination Oversee the coordination of software releases and deployments across environments, ensuring readiness from both engineering and testing perspectives. Work closely with Release Management, DevOps, and delivery teams to manage release scope, sequencing, and execution. Ensure that releases are aligned with governance processes such as CAB and meet required quality and compliance standards. Coordinate release readiness activities, including validation of dependencies, environment readiness, and sign‑offs from relevant stakeholders.
  • Non‑Functional Requirements (Performance, Scalability, Resilience) Play a key role in defining and driving non‑functional scope, including performance, scalability, and resilience testing. Work closely with Architecture and Engineering teams to ensure that non‑functional requirements are clearly defined, planned, and embedded into delivery timelines. Ensure that non‑functional testing is executed effectively and that results are reviewed, understood, and acted upon prior to release. Drive awareness of non‑functional risks and ensure appropriate mitigation strategies are in place. Support capacity planning and performance optimisation discussions.
  • Quality and Testing Oversight Oversee testing activities across System Integration Testing, User Acceptance Testing, and Non‑Functional Testing through Test Leads and a Test Manager. Ensure that test strategies are aligned with delivery goals and that appropriate coverage is achieved across all functional and non‑functional areas. Monitor defect trends and ensure effective defect management processes are in place. Balance delivery timelines with quality requirements, ensuring that releases meet agreed standards without introducing unnecessary delays. Drive continuous improvement in testing processes and quality practices across teams.
  • Dependency and Risk Management Manage complex dependencies across internal and external teams, ensuring alignment of delivery timelines and proactive identification of integration risks. Track and manage risks and issues across the programme, ensuring appropriate visibility and mitigation actions are in place. Work closely with teams to coordinate delivery milestones and avoid downstream impacts. Facilitate resolution of cross‑team blockers and escalates issues where necessary.
  • Governance and Senior Stakeholder Engagement Represent engineering in multiple governance forums. Provide clear and concise updates on delivery progress, risks, issues, and key decisions to senior stakeholders. Engage in ongoing stakeholder management to maintain alignment as priorities shift over time. Ensure that governance requirements are met and that engineering activities align with organisational standards and expectations.
  • Team Leadership and Delivery Enablement Lead a multi‑disciplinary team structure including Scrum teams, Test Leads, Project Management, Release Management, and supporting roles. Ensure clarity of roles, responsibilities, and ownership across the team. Facilitate collaboration across teams and functions. Provide support and guidance to team leads, helping them navigate delivery challenges and competing priorities.
  • Prioritization and Trade‑Off Management Facilitate prioritization activities with key stakeholders. Work with Product, Engineering, and Delivery teams to ensure alignment on what should be delivered, in what sequence, and within what timelines. Support decision‑making by providing visibility into impacts, dependencies, and trade‑offs associated with different options. Ensure that engineering capacity is focused on the highest‑value outcomes and that lower‑priority work is appropriately deferred.
